Student diary in Boston, Aug 25 ②
In today’s session, I kept in mind the reflections I had discussed with my group yesterday, so that I could overcome my own challenge. My personal reflection was that when I didn’t understand a word, I used to give up trying to understand it. So today, I made sure to listen carefully until the end. Then, I realized that sometimes I could understand the meaning of unfamiliar words when I heard them in context.
I also asked questions to our group leader, Valerie, more actively than usual. That helped me feel more involved and confident during the session.
I’m going to reflect on today’s presentation and work on improving it tonight, so that we can give a great final presentation tomorrow.
