Student diary in Boston, Aug 25 ③
Today was the last GPI session. Since we had already talked about our product ideas in our group yesterday, I felt that the group atmosphere was really good. Everyone was able to share their own opinions, and I was able to ask our AGLs (Assistant Group Leaders) questions when I didn’t understand something. Because of that, our discussion went smoothly.
I’m usually nervous during discussions, but today I was able to stay calm and have a relaxed conversation. I realized that when I tell my AGL, Valerie, that I don’t understand something, she kindly explains it in an easy-to-understand way.I’m really glad I noticed that.
In the afternoon, we visited the MFA (Museum of Fine Arts). I looked at many artworks and tried to think about them in my own way. Some of the pieces had explanations, which made it easier to apply VTS (Visual Thinking Strategy). But I also realized that doing VTS just by looking at a picture can be difficult. I want to learn how to follow the steps properly and get better at using VTS.
Tomorrow is the final presentation, and I want to do my best!
