Student diary in Boston, Aug 22 ②
I was really happy today because I was able to share my ideas—not just in group work, but also in class. However, most of the time, I only spoke up because others encouraged me to. So tomorrow, I want to take the initiative and speak up by myself.
I felt that Audrey was close to my ideal image of a leader. For example, she made sure we all understood what Erin was saying. I want to be the kind of leader who doesn’t leave anyone behind.
But to be honest, I haven’t really thought about what specific actions such a leader would take. That’s why I want to think more deeply about that during tomorrow’s activities.
Also, I’m really looking forward to watching the musical!
